Have fun, get crafty and show the world who inspires you this Easter: take part in the fun NCS North East ‘Good Egg’ competition.
We’re asking young people make an inspirational Easter egg and then show off your egg-ceptional creativity in all its glory on social media.
It’s our way of celebrating your egg-cellent part in NCS - the world’s biggest youth movement, with an inspirational community of NCSers right across the country. North East teens spent 214,000 hours volunteering through the programme last year – picking up awesome skills and experiences - and many choose to stay involved with NCS even after they graduated.
How to join in
- Decorate a hard-boiled egg to depict an inspirational figure of your choosing. The figure might be living, dead, real or fictional – it’s up to you.
- Take a photo of your egg.
- Post photo to your social channels using the hashtag #NCSGOODEGG – making sure your post is set to Public, not Private, and don’t forget to tag @NCSNorthEast on Twitter or NCS North East on Facebook. Briefly state why the figure you’ve picked is inspirational.
- Check out the other eggs online, and vote for your favourites (the post with the most likes/favourites wins).
Post your egg photos from 31 March -17 April, when the competition closes. We’ll announce the winner on 18 April. The winning young person will receive a £10 shopping voucher.
