12 schools have gone above and beyond to embrace the benefits of NCS.

Our annual schools awards recognise one school from each local authority in the North East that has pulled out all the stops to ensure their learners access the life-changing NCS programme.

The culmination of 2017's NCS league table saw the top schools, in terms of percentage of their year 11 group signing up to NCS, invited to a glitzy celebration evening in the Great Hall, Discovery Museum. A huge well done to all of our 2017 winners:
